True. There is evidence to support this. It says in the first clue that the camera saw williams and other random people get out of the same truck. That is undeniable.
Mr. Williams is not guilty of murder, but of manslaughter. He did not intend to kill the illegals they just died under his supervision. He tried to feed them but it was to late. I don't think that he is innocent because he did smuggle them over and they entrusted him with their lives.
Williams is not guilty of murder. I think he is guilty of manslaughter. In the video it was showing Williams buying alot of water bottles and chips. He was trying to help them and take care of them. It was just too late. It's not like he meant to kill them because if he really wanted to make money he would've tried to get as much as them to their destination. He didn't mean to kill them; he just didn't know what he was doing.
I could say that it is true and that its not true. After all 17 people died while under his " supervision". If you were going by that then yeah it would be true. But take the fact that he tried to keep them alive by feeding them and giving them water.
I think if i had to choose it would be that the statement is true. He was basically suffocating them in the back of a truck. The truck had no form of Ventilation. He was keeping them locked in the back of the truck and he should have been treating them better.
This statement is false. Williams had been in and out of a store buying water and chips which a surveillance tape showed he gave to the immigrants. He tried to help them and keep them alive. The death of these slaves was accidental according to the evidence presented.
i think that williams is guilty because he was the driver of the truck with all the immigrants that are being smuggled. also, i still don't think that williams is the only person that commited this crime because Mr. chavez planned and organized this whole plan. so he could too be a guilty suspect, or accomplice. so i think that williams is guilty.
Th dictionary defines murder as, "The unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice". While Williams should be punished, he didn't mean to kill those people. Williams kept those people in horrob;e conditions, but the article shows us that those people not only voluteered to go but PAID to go. Do not think that I am apologizing for him, but all this is true. When we sit back and think about it, Williams wasn't in charge of this operation. He didn't plan it, he wasn't the boss! Williams was just the smuggler. Everyone involved in this operation was in all probability in violation of some law (save perhaps the children).
William is not guilty of murder. When Williams was transporting the illegal immigrants, he had stopped at a convenience store and gas station in Victoria, Texas. A surveillance tape had caught him being in the store while the whole incident of someone being killed had occured. While he was in the store, Ms. Chavez and him were buying a whole bunch of water and potatoe chips in order to feed the immigrants. It was while they were in the store, one of the immigrants came yelling talkin about someone trying to kill them when they were all fleeing. He was not wanting to harm the immigrants but give them food to keep them alive not dead. ~Danielle W.~
I belive that he is not guilty of murder. Those passengers chose to load onto that bus, and when they were able to escape they chose not to. Williams was just out for some cash at a quick job and instead, manslaughter.

i handed this in late because i thought i did it before but i was wrong so...i don't think it was murder but it was manslaughter. he didn't want to kill them he wanted them to live. he tryed to feed them but it was too late.
I think he's guilty of manslaughter because those people chose to get into the truck knowing the risks ahead. Also he bought 100 dollars worht of food and water for the people. He didnt want them to die, but he couldnt suppy everything for them.
