Ch.7
1)The animals did not want the humans to know that they were doing badly. they wanted their image to stay strong and proud.
2)The hens, as they refused to lay the amount of eggs required to fulfill their contract.
3)Snowball was coming to the farm at night and destroying everything in the barn. He said that anything that went wrong was usually attributed to Snowball. That practice became commonplace.
4)Napoleon started killing rebellious animals.
5)These things were not what Old Major would have wanted to happen when he started the rebellion.

1)He appointed himself that term and spread it around the barn like a rumor.
2)The animals thought he was selling it to Pilkington.

Chapter 7
1.It was vitally necessary, because the humans might attack the animals and try to take over the farm because the animals are hungry and weak.
2.The hens started a mini rebellion against Napoleon, because he told them that he was going to take their eggs so that they could be sold.
3. The "alarming" thing that was discovered about Snowball, was that he was visiting the farm at night. Squealer said that he had document proving that Snowball was working with Jones, and that Snowball tried to get him defeated during the Battle of the Cowshed.
4.The terror for them was far worse, because they had just witnessed the killings of many animals who had admitted to committing some crime.
5.Clover thought that the terror and slaughter was not what was supposed to happen after the rebellion.
Chapter 8
1.The title had been given to Snowball by himself, and that he was really a coward during the battle.
2.They were surprised because it was rumored that Frederick was planning to take over the farm.
3.Then hens admitted to plotting to kill Napoleon.
4. Napoleon rarely came outside the house, and while he was inside he kept to himself and always had guard dogs with him.
5.The windmill had been blown up by Frederick and his men.
6.Squealer said that the victory was that they had gotten the enemy off their land, and recalimed the farm.
7.Benjamin knew that Squealer was changing the commandments.
Chapter 9
1. The rumor was that the van that had taken Boxer away had the words "Horse Slaughterer" written on it.
2.Squealer said that they were better off than in Jones' days, because they lived longer, worked less, had more food and were generally happier.
3.Other animals had to move aside when a pig was in their path.
4.Sugarcandy Muntain was the place that Moses had said that every animal went to after they died.

This quote is an example of how the pigs were becoming more like humans, and that things on the farm were not better than in Jones' day.

Chapter 7
1. It was important to not let people know that animal farm didn’t have any food because it would make them seem weak. Also the humans would come back and try to over run the animals.
2. The hens started the “rebellion”. Napoleon told them that their eggs would be taken away so they could be sold to Whymper. They said it was like murder so they went up to a high point, laid their eggs and dropped them.
3. Squealer said that Snowball would come back to the farm and make a mess of it. Squealer tried to tell the animals that Snowball was on Mr. Jones side when they were fighting against all the men who came back to the far. He said that when Mr. Jones shot him it only grazed him on purpose.
4. Napoleon had every one who was associated with Snowball executed. This made fear bigger on Animal Farm because animals were not supposed to kill any other animal.
5. Clover thought that all of their years of hard work was going to waste because they were killing each other, they had strict rules to follow, and they had dogs growling at them for making just one mistake.
Chapter 8
1. It was revealed that Snowball made up a rumor that he received Animal Hero First Class.
2. It was shocking that he would sell the fire wood because there were rumors that Frederick was going to attack Animal Farm.
3. The windmill was blown up by the men who attacked Animal Farm.
4. Squealer said to boxer that the animals have driven the men off of the sacred Animal Farm.
5. Benjamin noticed that Squealer had written something on the commandments board.
Chapter 9
1. It was said that the truck that came to take Boxer away was a truck that took horses to the hackers. Squealer said that it was a truck taking him to the hospital.
2. Squealer said that improvement was enormous by telling the animals that they had more supplies then they did when Jones was around.
3. There was a rule that said that if any animal was to pass a pig on the road they had to get out of the way and let the pig go by. This rule was made because pigs were known as the best animals on the farm.
4. Sugarcandy Mountain was represented as a place where animals died.
Chapter 10
1. This quote means that all of the animals that were not pigs were all equal. The pigs were always more important than the others. The pigs thought of themselves as the best animals there ever was. They put themselves first trying to create an equal environment.

1. Because the humans are coming up with lies about Animal Farm and this will just give them more material.

1: It was vitally necessary to concel the food shortage from the outside world because the "human beings were making up fresh new lies about the animal farm like that the animals were dying of famine, continually fighting amoung themselves and resulted in cannibalism."
2: Napoleon was the one responsible for this event. It had happened because he had made a deal with Whymper that "four hundred eggs a week be used to pay for the grain".
3: The alarming thing that was discovered about snowball was that he was a spy for Mr. Jones. Squealer attempted to prove that snowball was working with Mr. Jones by stateing that they had just recently found documents that he had left behind.
4: The terror seemed to all them far worse now because they do not know which is worse being in leauge with snowball or the cruel retribution that they had just noticed.
5: Clovers thought about the scenes of terror and slughter were that it was not at all what they had looked foward to on the hight when old Major had first spoken of the rebllion against the human race.

1:During the battle of the cow shead Snowball had mixed weed seeds with sseed corn.
2: It was surprising that Napoleon had sold the firewood to Frederick because he been in secret agreement with Fredrick.
3: 3 hens had confessed to plot of assassinate Napoleon.
4: Napoleon came more isolated because he now was in jam he was being attacked by fredrick and need help form pilkington but did not get it.
5: the windmill had been blasted to pieces.
6: Squeler says that thanks to the great leadership of Napoleon they have won back every inch of what was theirs bto begin with.
7: it had occured to him that he was eleven years old and that his strength was not what it used to be.

1: the rumor was that boxer had been taken to the knackers.
2: he said that they are now free, work shorter hours, have better drinking water, live longer, and the young ones survive birth.
3:the rule was that the other animal must stand aside and that all pigs were to have the priviilage of wearing green ribbons on their tails on sundays.
4: the sugar candy mount is important because it where the poor animals will go to live in peace.

1:I question how all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. You are either all equal or no one is equal. Equal means just that equal. no one has more equality than any other.
1. So others won't know about their food shortage and take advantage of it.
3. They alarming thing about snowball was that they were told he was working with Jones and proved by him blowing up the windmill.
4. The terror was when Napoleon would execute the other animals because of being a criminal.
6. It was revealed about snowball that he was pretending to be a hero and make it look like he helped so they wouldn't think he works with Jones.
7. Because they all thought that humans were enemies to the animals.
8. The hens planned to assassinate Napoleon.
9. By not showing his self around the farm and never coming out.

17. I think that this quote shows how the pigs considered themselves higher than any other animals and thought they deserved to be in power.

The new commandment is wrong to me because how can one animal be more equal than another? Also, no one is following Old Major anymore. It's like he just left the world completely, including his words.

CHAPTER 7: 1)The animals didn't want the humans to know they were falling. They wanted them to think the farm was in full success.
2) The hens were speaking up against Napoleon because Napoleon said they were to sacrifice their eggs to trade with the humans.
3)Snowball was secretly visiting the farm at night. Squealer told the animals to remember when Mr. Jones and his men came in, Snowball quickly tried to flee the scene.

CHAPTER 8: 1)He fled as soon as he saw the men coming in the farm.
2)Napoleon and Pilkington had a good friendly relationship. The animals trusted him more than Frederick and were less afraid of him.

1. If the outside world knew the animals were struggling they might try and take over, or they would just lose faith in the animals.
2. The hens did not want to give up 400 eggs a week to sell in the market. They viewed it as murder!

5. She had the feeling that this is not what Old Major would have wanted - this was not what the Rebellion was supposed to be.
Chapter 8
1. Napoleon claimed he had led the fight AGAINST the animals.
2. Napoleon had told the animals that he was very bad, and wanted to take over Animal Farm, and that he was in league with Snowball. It was everything that they didn't believe in.
3. The hens confessed to working with Snowball and trying to kill Napoleon.
4. He started drinking and making deals with humans, taking him away from the animals and the farm.
5. It was blown up by the humans right in front of the animals.
6. He said it was a victory because they defeated the humans, and those are their only enemies. When they are gone, the animals are free and happy no matter what.
7. He knew that Squealer had changed the commandments and had been drinking which is why he feel off the ladder.
Chapter 9
1. The rumor was that Boxer was sent to a slaughter house and not to the animal hospital.
2. He said that they were free, and that was all that mattered.
3. The other animal must step aside to let any pig or dog pass by first.
4. It was America - true freedom, and a democracy.

This is Napoleon's final declaration of the fact that he is in power and he needs to be treated above all others - Just like Stalin demanded!
