This quote is important because at first on the animal all animals were equal no matter what becuase they wanted to be themselves without having to do things for the humans. Then, once they noticed that the pigs were smarter than the rest of the animals, and Naepolian came into command and changed the rules around a little bit so that it made it look like the supported the animals still, but because he was a pig and smarter he and his fellow piggy friends got better treatment. Napeolian tricked most of the animals into thinking that he was doing the right thing, however they were just slowly changing animal farm back into manor farm.
I think that a theme for Animal Farm is that if you take over another's job, you will become like them. This is what happened to the pigs throughout Animal Farm. This is also what happened in communism. Things got better, but then they became even worse than before. The new leader became more and more like the old one, in fact even worse.
Shanice-This quote to me means that some animals consider themself to be equal, but they do not really live up to that as much as others do. They see themself as equal to a certain extent. In communism, Stalin considers all the people to be equal however he demands a higher amount of respect opposed to a steel worker.
The quote doesn't really seem fair or make sense. If all animals are equal, how can some be more equal than others? It means that the leaders are more privlaged than the others, which really isn't equality at all. This is what happened with communism. The leaders treated themselves as better than the rest of the citizens.
The qoute means that the people in Russia are all equal. The only differce is that the rulers are a little more poerul thenthe other people in the country.

This quote is important because it shows the flaws in communism. The whole point of communism is everybody is equal, but that is not possible. Also this shows the ranking in animal farm and how the pigs were more important but everybody was supposed to be equal.
This quote is important since it relates to Animal Farm and communism because it shows how some of the animals in Animal farm treated themselves better than others and they treat others with the same low respect as others. This also relates to communism because the government treats others with low or high respect and this was how a communism was run.
The main point as Ben said is that communism was supposed to make the people of Russia equal. Like in animal farm and Russia, the rulers have more power or respect than others which would not make them equal to a certain extent. Higher athority seems to think of themselves as a person that had more rights than the average communist.
The qoute is important because it means that animals think there equal like in Russia when the people think there equal. But the leaders put themselves above the average day people.
This is an important quote because the pigs felt that they were more superior than the other animals so they decided to make it known that they were" better than the other animals".
The quote "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.” is significant to the book. This is because the "leaders" of the farm which are the pigs and dogs, but mainly Napoleon feel as if they are better than the other animals because they’re smarter. At first they had good intentions on making everyone on the animal farm equal; then greed went to many of the animals head and they began to change the rules of the farm so that it would benefit them and not necessarily everyone else. This relates to communism because the main point was to make everyone equal. They did not fulfill equality because the government began to get corrupt. It wasn't possible because their will always be a division between rich and poor due to power and sadly, greed.
I agree with Ben's comment that they wanted to make everyone equal but that's not possible. This is because there will always be someone in power that will be in better conditions than others.
the quote is saying that the animales are all equal, and some people dont act it. i agree with elena that says the quote dosnt make sence because if they say everyone is equal but some are more than others, then therefor nothingg is equal

The quote, "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others," means that the animals were more equal than others where the animals who did more work than others, since the pigs seems that they had did more work, they were supervising other animals with whips in their trotters.

This quote is important because it is telling the reader that the leaders and non-lower class citizens are more important than the average animals. this is also important because it goes against the original commandment of animalism in which every animal is equal.

I agree with shan's quote because eventhough some animals did more work than others those who did less had more powere in animal farm.

i also do agree with Ben's comment because the unequality does show the faults in communism and how Animal Farm has changed in the period of time.
