What patterns do you see emerging? What does this graph tell us about immigration in the past 10-20 years? What are your reactions to the interactive graph?

rusian;s latin's and european's are populateing most of the united states. this shows me that immigration is growing. i feel immigrants will afect americans.
The patterns that seem to emerge in this graph is that western side became heavily populated with Latin Americans. In the past 10-20 years, this tells us that immigration began to increase tremendously in the region. My reactions based on viewing the graph is that overtime, due to the population increase of the immigrants, they will soon take over the area which hurts us in the long run.
The patterns I see emerging are the increasing amount of latin immigrants in the west and the south (Texas and Miami). This increase has began since the 1970's. Also the incrase of asian and middle eastern immigrants in the middle earstern and the eastern side of america since the 1970's. I personally don't think that these immigration patterns will have a negative affect on america's economy and will help keep it balanced.
Based on the graph, the patterns I see is that the latin americans are entering the US and are starting out west and are beginning to branch out over time. Then there is the Asia and middle east people are spread out throughout the United States. Ocer the past 20 years you can see the dramatic increase in the latin american and the asian population. I believe that the increase in immigrants to america is affecting the job oppertunities for americans.

well, the map is showing me that most of america was eastern europe that immagrated there an now it has a little more verity but it still is made up of mostly latin america.
The pattern that I see emerging is that it is mostly Latin Americans moving into America and they are all mostly in the West side of the USA. In the past 10-20 years our country has become filled with emmigrants and I beileve that everyone deserves to be free and equal and as long as they are working hard and being what living up to what it means too be an American citizen that there is no problem.

Got mine in the last second :D
i think that alot of people are over populating america. mostly europeans rusians and latinos. the american culture s not all the way together its really diversed now
i see that allot of Latin people are taking over the border of taxes, California, and Florida ....the pattern i see emerging is, they are moving more north for work, this tells us that allot of people agree moving tword the north... my reactions are this is very rapidly accruing .. immigration.
the pattern that i see emerging is that immigrants are staying more west but they are now starting to move north.the map shows that in the last ten years the immigrant population has increased by a lot and still is. My reactions is that there are so many immigrants.
1. I see More and more latin/americans emerging throughout the world.
2. It tells us that more and more immigrants come from around the world each & everyday to live a better Life.
3. I think that more races from all around the Globe are starting to come to America to find jobs and better themselves. I feel that immigrants should Have the right to fix their lives as well as Americans try to so I don't think Americans should look at it as "their trying to take over America"
I AGREE WITH THE AUTHOR because the first setterlers were indeed immergrants to the indiguos people of the united states land..for example in the schema they had a decedent from britian starting a new life on america's soil and the native Americans asked them for there papers as if there were illegal immergrants
also in a paper by William hogeland it says that George Washington would be accused of softness on immergration; he kept shifting the line westward, this was against the law by the kings orders....thats why i think that George Washington is all considered an immergrant.

The pattern I see emerging is that there is alot of immigrates are going to the west side of the U.S. Also i see that alot of immigrants are coming from Latin America and Asia, Middle East. The graph tells us that immigration in the past 10-20 years has increased alot. My reactions are that we need to control the amount of immigrants coming to America. There are too many immigrants in America now and we cant continue this to happen.
It tells me that the more foreign Countries feel that they dont want to go through all the papers to be legal so the shortcut is to come over illegaly and they take that risk.
