Can the world achieve water sustainability? (A Block Only)

I think that the world can achieve water sustainability because there are several ideas coming up. People are coming up with brand new technology that is going to be put into great use. And with lots of people with money that can help, we can come up with a way to make water sustainable.
I think that the world can achieve water sustainability because, a natural filtering system is one of the easiest to collect, rain. Rain is naturally filtered, and many people are putting out barrels and collecting rainwater. In many places, clean water is being made available, like the article in class showing how it is being made available in Iraq, and the other article explaining how it is becoming provided in India. I think that the freshwater source might be fought over like oil is now, but in time as water is provided as well as awareness, the world's water supply will not become a problem.
I think that if we do what we have to to make it so, then that's that. Desalination may be an expensive process, but it will take hundreds, even thousands of years to finish all of the world's ocean water. The rain capture thingy is another way to do, "what we need to do", in order to achieve water sustainability.
pThe world can achieve water sustainability because our earth is over 70% water, the trick is just to develop the technology to harvest it cheaply. I think that it is a great idea to be able to use our rivers as we did many years ago: a water supply. We are currently just using them as a garbage! They have great potential to become a great source of clean drinking water. This method could deliver a lot of water to cities because many of them are near rivers already. They were intentionally built here because water is so important to life and trade. It would be a major improvement to the world if we developed this idea.
Yes I think the world can achieve water sustainability. In one situation, Habsu's child was very sick, but she didn't know what was wrong. Finally the mystery was solved and local groups worked with UNICEF and were able to provide alternative, improved water sources. Another example was in 2000 the Angolan Government and UNICEF teamed up to lay a pipeline from the river to the community at Mabuia. They filtered all the water making it drinkable. As a result, diarrhoea rates dropped almost to 0, child deaths plummeted, and many girls(who didn't have to spend hours carrying water) entered school for the first time. If UNICEF was able to help these villages, then they can help anybody. It'll be even easier if we all helped these countries with little access to water. This is something that we can change.
I think in a way we can clean up the water and try to get it to people who dont have any clean water. I guess we could acheive it but it seams a bit unrealistic. i dont mean it it in a bad way but someday we will run out of water. and all those people who dont believe that will probably be stuck on the way they do things and they dont want to change or try to save water because they dont think its a big problem. I really hope we can do it one day.

In the stories from UNICEF it says, "The water used to have a bad taste and we often clutched our stomachs in pain none of this happens anymore" from Lakahmi's story. From Maria's story it says, "We check that recepatacles containing water are covered to avoid contamination and that empty ones are cleaned out."
I do feel that we can achieve water sustainability if we all do our part in helping. If we cut down the amount of water we waste, we can use all of that excess water to help those who do not have access to the cleanest water. Like in the video, we can install those big water catchers and big metal jugs of water to "recycle" the rain water to use for drinking and other things. Also, we can use desalanation. Although it is exspensive we have far more salty sea water than we do fresh so we can use that salty water and deslanate it so that we can use it for drinking and cleaning and just water.
In my opinion, the world can achieve water sustainabilty. A lot of the global disease in the world is caused by water pollution. Many places in the world do not have fresh drinking water. By creating an education program to teach people about good hygiene, sanitation, and ways to keep the environment clean will really make a difference in our world. Also, in a lot of places their is a lack of water supply. For instance collecting rainwater is a good way of having water that you need. You could collect a whole bunch of water that could be used nit only for drinking water but for also irrigation. By people working together we can achieve water susatainability. ~Danielle W.~
yes i do believe that the world could achive water sustainability. in suaba's story it tells us how people are actually trying to cean their water to have a clean sourse of water. also in the lbrahim's story it tell you that children have to collect clean water off the streets that will make them ill. so i believe the world needs this because they really want it.
The world can achieve water sustainability. in fatim's story it tells us that soliers always get a clean sourse of water during war but the villagers don't.they really want some kind of clean sourse of water. also in the lakshim's story it tells us that there is many schools that don't have clean water and have to teach kids how to clean it. so almost every one wants this because they don't have it.
I think that the world can achieve water sustainability by not wasting water. We can save water by not leaving the faucet on when we use our sinks. We can also achieve this if we clean up our rivers so that nothing can contaminate the water we use to drink.
The world cannot acheive water sustainability because just over a billion people have no access to clean water. Also, 1/3 or deaths are cause by environmental factors such as polluted water. So, we cannot acheive water sustainability. \ rishi
i don't think so because most water in, for examle, Africa don't have acces to clean water because of all the poution in the water. polution in water comes from everywhere. there could be polution from america that later ends up into Africas water supply. no one will stop poluting water because they are just too lazy or they just don't care.
