In my immigration Bill, There would be a complete border fence that was exsactly on the border. The family merit-based visa would only be valid if the family member was legally a citizen. Illegal imigrants would have to return to their country and apply for citizenship, unless they were forced out. No tempary workers. And no immigrant workers, or you'll be fined.
For the Immigration Policy, i would change it by making a full fence, not just parts, I wouldn't have guest workers, I would let illegal immigrants have a chance to be legalized, and i would have a visa plan if you have family members in hte U.S. Also, i would keep the new system requiring employers to determine legal status of all jobs applicants.

1 get rid of the border fence
2 keep it
3 keep it
4 get rid of it
5 get rid of it
I would take out the border fence. Everyone that wants to be free should come to our country, hence 'land of the free.' If you have family here, you should be easily let inside this lovely country. Anyone that wants to be an American, should be an American. They should be able to stay for as long as they want, when they want, where they want. They should have no crime on their record, and they can work just like a normal American citizen. Everyone should be equal, because we are the land of the free.
i dont think that they should put up the fence because immigrants have just as much as a right as us. i think that immigrants should be able to get a visa no matter what because if they think their oppourtunities are all in America then they should be able to succed in their job or education. the only way that immigrants should be able to get a citizenship if they know how to speak english and write in english. although immigrants should be able to come here they should only get permanet jobs because they would have something to rely on more. last all the workers from other countries should legal.
I think that there should be a border fence. If the border fence should be put up I think that there shouldnt be just sections I think that every part should have a border. As far as the guest/temporary worker program, its a waste of time because the immigrants will try to continue to stay in the u.s and hide. The family and merit-based visas, they all should be given the opportunity to become a legal citizen but if they dont want to learn english and learn certain required job skills then they shouldnt get one. As for the legal status of job applications, everyone should have to get a background check and if they are illeal immigrants then they should have to get fired. I dont think its fair that they should have to wait 13 years to become a citizen, anything over 5 years is not fair towards immigrants especially the ones that are trying to get a better life for there kids and the rest of the family. I dont think its fair that they dont have the same opportunities as we do therfore if theyre trying to better themselves then we should support them.
Temprary or Guest worker Progrsm-
- This program is going to work like this. If you are foriegn and wan't to work in the U.S. You will work 6 out of the 12 monthes for 10 years. This gives many workers alot of time to work in the U.S.
Family and Merit-Base Visas-
- You must have at least 15 members that are legal citizens. You then have a chance to get a visas and must have a job within the first 3 monthes when recieving visas if under the age of 40.
Border Security-
- The border will be built and the are going to be pockets for entry. On average a 15 gaps for passing the the border but there will be security. You may pass but may have to register for a temporary visas.
Legal Satus of job appicant-
- This system is that illegal immigrants may work but can only have have limited amount a year.
Citizenship for illegal immigrants-
- 15 years after applying for a visas and if they are reasonable they may recieve theirs. If you are illegal you must own a home, pay a fine of $3000 and have some capibilty of speaking english.

1. Border fence : I would keep the border fence because it protects the real citizens of the USA.
2. Family and Merit-Based Visas: I would Not allow the family merit based visas because in my opinion its gives the immigrants a free pass to cross the border.
3.A path to citizenship for illegal immigrants: I would send them papers to where ever they are . have them send them back review them . and then see if i feel that they could be a citizenship .
4. Guest/Temporary Worker Program: I would make a program so while they were awaiting for.
their paperwork etc they could make some type of money .
5. Legal status of job applicants: i would not pay for homeland security because are applications are always legit .
1.) keep the border fence for those without visas.
2.)Anyone that has a relation to a legal immigrant can come over.
3.)The illegal immigrant needs to know how to speak english and pass a certain test to become legal.
4.)The people can stay for the two years and keep coming back as long as they have their visas.
5.)They have to live in America in order to get the jobs.
1. Border fence?
- Yes I Would Like To Make A Border Fence So The Us Population Would Stop Going Up
2. Family and Merit-Based Visas?
- They Can Only have Visas !
3. A path to citizenship for illegal immigrants?
- No Paper Work Than You CANT STAY . But If They Convince us The Will Have To Pay $4,000 And Every 4 Years It Will Double . So We Wont be In Dept Anymore
4. Guest/Temporary Worker Program?
- No Because We Are Already In Debt So Why Would We Pay More People ?
5. Legal status of job applicants
- If Your Not Leagal You Can Get A Job
the border fence should be kept because then immigrants cant be allowed or get into the countries.
the family and merit-based visas will be given to the immigrants who have have family that are u.s. citizens.
the path to citizenship for immigration should be to let them come over here and then have a chance to be legal u.s. citizen.
if the fail the test they can stay with someone they know and get a job until they can pass their test they can not get paid more then $50 a week.
1. Border fence?
will will not put up a border fence and cage immigrants in like animals. we increase patrol but we will build a border fence, it will cost us money and will most likely not stop foreigners from trying to illegally come in.
2. Family and Merit-Based Visas?
People with connections with people of there family will be determined and evaluated.
3. A path to citizenship for illegal immigrants?
illegal immigrants already in the us will be able to apply for a visa and stay in the us, since they already here. furthermore they will be able to send for there children and grandparents only.
4. Guest/Temporary Worker Program?
We would have a program that puts foreigners in the life of a regular american for 4 yrs. They would be provided with a home ,vehicle, and a job.At the end of the temporary program they will be able to apply for visas or can be deported.
5. Legal status of job applicants
Anyone that already has the job illegally for any corporation of business will put in an application to the employer and the gov so that they can be paid american wage and keep the job.

1. Keep the fence, but not around property owners' land. So this way, no one loses their land.
2. Allow immigrants in if they have family in the U.S. but there must be a limit to how many can come.
3. Keep the same plan but cut the time in half to about 6-7 years.
4. Get rid of this plan if an immigrant wants to work in the U.S. they must become legal.
5. I agree, this way we can reduce the amount of illegal workers.
***DRE***
1. Border Fence: The fence will be built through all 2,700 miles. There will be no sectioning off periodically. Also we will continue to increase the amount of security surrounding the gate. Last there will only be 3 gates at the 900 mile mark and 1800 mile mark. The gate will be a punch key with strong camera security and lazered.
2. Family and Merit-Based Visas: We will establish a program for the immigrants and their families. But before giving them visas they will have to advance in at least one skill. The different skills vary from speaking English, job skills, education and will investigate their job history. Without at least one of these skills they are not worthy of a visa.
3. A path to citizenship for illegal immigrants: We will allow illegal immigrants to go through the nationalization even if they are in America simultaneously. But they will have to pay a fee for living illegally depending by the amount of family members. If it is more than one illegal immigrant in the family the naturalization process will take a much longer period of time. But a illegal immigrant can not marry a legal citizen until after the naturalization process is complete. The minimum amount of years for the naturalization process to be completed will be 3 years depending on the illegal immigrants status.
4. Guest Temporary Work Program: We will get rid of the guest temporary work program . It is unnecessary and they do not deserve an American wage. They are working temp while Americans have salaries and work full time. Also it will cause complications with immigrants trying to stay in America and overuse their three visits. It is a waste of time and money.
5. Legal status of job applicants: When people apply for jobs they will have to go through a background check and verified that they are legal citizens. If a manager of a company does decide to hire an illegal immigrant and the government does find they will get a fined a large amount and a full staff inspection
No need for the border fence let the migrants come we don't even need family or merit-based Visas or guest worker programs all we need to do is let then immigrants come to america we don't even need to let them have to get their legal status all we need to do is let them escape their poor countries they are dieing what is the lettering in the statue of liberty give me your hungry give me your poor that is something we should abide by to this day even if it may seam stupid but is that not what america is all about
1.Yes, Because Are Population Is GOing To Get Bigger ANd We Are GOing TO Become A Third World Country.
2. Yes, SO They Can Learn How TO Speak English And They Can Get Good Jobs Another Reason I Think They Should Get Visas Because I Feel They Should Have Equal Opportunity's As Us.
3.Yes, They Should Have A Background Check But As Far As Waiting 13 Years Just To Become A Legal Citizen Because They May Be Trying To Give Their Children A Good Education.
4. As For The Guest/Temporary Worker Program, It Wouldn't Be Smart To Allow Immigrants In For A Short Period Of Time Because They May Try To Stay In The U.s And Not Go Back Home.
5. I Think That Everyone Should Be Checked To See If They're Documented And If They're Not Then They Should Be Fired. A Background Check Should Be Required For Everyone.
In the immigration Bill Policy, i would have a full fence along the whole border. The family merit based visa would be valid to those immigrants who have been citizens of the U.S. no to those who entered the U.S. illegally. Illegal immigrants would have to do a lot by going back to their home town to get paper work to see if they had criminal charges pressed against them. Immigrant workers but not illegally. If you are an illegal immigrant then you will be fined.

in my immigration bill there will be a border fence sice there is all ready one they needa hurry up and finish the rest . it makes no sense to not finsh what they had stared. the family member merit-based visa will only apply to those who know their english and the american values . illegal immigrants as usual will be deported back ,no questions asked . for immigrants on temporary confinment will be under watch for no funny business and made sure when they have completed their 2yrs , they will be also deported back . they may also work on getting citizenship that way they may comeback w/their families but must also know english , education and american values as well ;P
I think that my immigration bill would be baste on equality. for example i would i would still have the boarder fence for any illegal immigrates but. if your in the united states and your not legal then i would have them take test. Then if they past the test i would set them up in a work program to help them get back on their feet.
1. the border should be complete on the U.S. Mexican border. it is not sufficient to have the fence since it is not exactly on the border and it is not complete. it is said that the gapes have cameras acting as a virtual fence but the virtual fence has glitches and is not affective.
2. the family and merit-based visas should stay but just because your family is in the U.S. shouldn't make it harder for you to get in it should be easier.
3. the path to citizenship for illegal immigrants should go because the citizenship should only be there for people that came to the U.S. legally. the illegal immigrants should be sent home to their home country.
4. the guest/temporary workers should just get U.S. citizenship because of you don't live in the U.S then you should't be able to work here. the program should go.
5. the legal status on applications is a good system. but if people are hiring illegal immigrants and know it then they should be fined. and also if you are looking at an application you should do a complete background check on the person to see if they are legit.
First of all, i see no use for a border fence. I think all it does is upset most people, not only becuase it cuts off properties, it also is prooven to be inneffective at the virtual points, so i see no use in finishing the fence. I believe that the family-based visas are going to be inneffective. Yes it is great tat families will be able to remain together however, that doesn't proove that the immigrants will be leaving. They might stay and if so, then how are they going to get jobs besides stealing them from U.S. citizens. With the legal citizenship, i feel that the process is too long however i feel that it is necessary so we should indeed have it. If we didn't take the appropriate ammount of time to see all the offical procedures to legally become a citizen, then we would have even more illegals coming into the U.S. I believe that the temporary work program will be nice becuase it give immigrants a chance that they wanted. It is totally fair. and lastly I do believe that the legal job applicants is critical to have to ensure that we are hiring the correct people and not illegal people. If we had given the jobs to the illegal people, then they would continue to try and go after our jobs even more
I believe the immigration policy should build 500 miles more of the border fence in order to force more and more of the immigrants trying to cross to come into contact with the electrical part of the fence so we can capture them. I would keep the family and merit based visas so we can give immigrants more opportunities and provide them some time and a job in america. i would shorten the path to legalization in america in order to make it seem like you wasted your life to apply. I would make less applicants to deal with. I would keep the guest temporary work program in order to provide immigrants with a job to help them make an honest living and to not make them suffer. i would get rid of legal status of job applications because many people would take advantage of that or discriminate against them and not hire them because of their legal status.
If I made an Immigration Bill, there wouldn't be a border fence. After all the border fence is not a good idea because of how it cuts through the land of American citizens and even fences some in. For the Family-merit based visa, it would stay the same as it was proposed in 2006 because it was a good idea. Those who seek a visa based the Family-merit system they will have to meet the requirements. As for the citezenship for illegal immigrants, I support it. They are already in the country so instead of shippng them out, and possibly their American-born children, they wil have a chance to become a legal citizen. I actually don''t belive in the Guest/Temporary Work Program. If they are not allowed to stay here full time then why bring them over to work? And if they are going to be paid the same as American Workers and actually have to leave for a year, come back, and then leave for another year, who would hire them? It is more trouble than just hiring an American Worker and isn't practical. The Legal Status of Job Applicants is a good idea. Illegal Immigrants should not work and not pay taxes and etc. And Employers should be fined if they are knowingly employing illegal immigrants, especially snce they could exploit them.
In my opinion, there shouldnt be a border fence.. Its also makes no sence to have the border because the way the built it didnt make any sence.. why have the border if its going to have spaces in between it? That doesn't make sence.. in that case mind as well not have it at all. I think many of the immigrants SHOULD have a family merit-based visa only if they have a family member in America that is a LEGAL citizen. I dont think that the guest/temporary system is a good system because it doesnt make sence for the immigrants to be going back in forth.. I think they should have legal status of job applications. If some are found illegal they get sent back. Its just that easy..
For my Immigration Bill would be different. Instead of having sections of fence it would be a full fence with one or two openings to ensure no immigrants will enter. I wouldnt change the temporary visa program because i think its a good idea to let immigrants here for a certain amount of time then telling them to leave, it will decrease the amount of illegal immigrants. i would also keep fining people who hire illegl immigrants, it will make sure no illegal immigrants are hired.
My immigration bill would have a border fence but it would be complete without any gates or openings. I would have a family and merit-based visa so that people can join their family without a lot of problem. No one should be separated from their family and if a lot of their family members are in America they should be let in also. I wouldn’t have a path to citizenship because I think its too long and they shouldn’t have to wait that long in order to gain citizenship. i would at least find a way to shorten the time it would take. I would not have the guest temporary work program because I don’t think that they should be able to come and take the jobs that Americans want for the same wage as Americans would get. i would have a legal status of job applicants because people wouldn’t be able to work illegally and the employers would be in fear of losing their jobs if they hired them illegally. This is what my immigration bill would be like. (:
