If this was November, i would vote for Obama. Obama thinks that billion of dollars has been spent for us to trust the President on another tried and failed policy opposed by generals and experts.
"It is time for us to fundamentally change our policy", Obama said.
I think if i had to choose from a presidential candid@Te i will pick hilarry clinton because as she mentions she is trying to get more troops and her goal is to have more troops out by the end of 2013. Also I would have pick her because as she mentioned in the article "If i had been President in october 2002, i would have never ask for autheority to dovert our attention from Afghanistan to Iraq, and I certainly would never have started this war". plus theres another quote that made me choose this opinion because she said that "Trying to withdraw is not something your snap your fingers to tell people, do it tomorrow. It has to be done in a thoughtful,orderly,careful way that defends our troops on these routes they're going to have to take to get men and equipment out of Iraq".I would definitely pick her as the preseident candidate for 2008***....i really like her speech about what she thinks she would have done if she was president for da 08*****
If i had to choose the presidental canidate i would pick Obama not because hes black because he knows what he is talking about. he wants our troops to be back home now and i agree with him we should have to wait 60 days or 2013 to bring them home like Hillary Clinton said. i agree with Dhana when she said that obama thinks that billion of dollars has been spent for us to trust the president when its really not because he takes our money and use it for unnessacary things and thats why we need our troops home right now because they are fighting in a dumb war.
if i were to vote in novemeber i would vote for obama. i say this because he wants to be out of iraq in 16 month except for a couple of soilders to assit and eventually come home. he says also that he doesnt oppose wars only dumb wars and i agree that iraq is a dumb war.

Hillary Clinton is such a suck up and a sneak. She says that she would have the troops their for alomst 60 days before they would bring them home. Their have been so many deaths including my own cousin and I would love the world to become a better place and make the war stop. Also, don't you notice that everytime they have a presidential election and they ask a question and everytime Barack answers doesn't answer it immediality they laugh and say "just answer it, just answer it". Me and my family always get upset and say "let him say what he feels" I feel that sometimes, they are racist towards him and give Hillary more credit than Barack.
If Barack wins, I will be so happy that we finally have a black president that believes what I feel.

A: If I were considering the candidates thoughts on the war in Iraq I would vote for Barack Obama. If I were able to vote I would have voted for him in the first place, because he has strong beliefs in the way the government should be handled. He thinks that the war will make our allies and foes in the Middle East mad and ruin our alliance with the other Middle Eastern countries. He made a statement that I like, he said, ""I am not opposed to all wars, I am opposed to dumb wars." This means that he wants the war to ed so that we aren't fighting for dumb reasons. Obama also doesn't want to put anymore of our troops in Iraq and bring more of them back home. His plan on the withdrawal of the soldiers is to take out 1 or 2 brigades a month and to finish within 16 months. He says, "Leave limited forces to combat terrorism; forces would not be involved in deterring Iranian involvement. Troops would train Iraqi forces only if there was political reconciliation. Redeploy some troops to Afghanistan." This shows that he wats to make sure that we don't leave an unfinished war in Iraq.
If it were November right now, and I was choosing the president based on their position on the war, I would definatly say Mr. Barack Obama. I would say him because he is not for the war, and never was, like his opponent Hilary Clinton was. Personally, I think that she only went back to not being for it because things went bad. She is basically a flip flopper. Barack though, stayed genuine the whole time.
if i had to vote for the president i would have to vote for OBAMA!!! because he seems like he know's wat hes talkin about even though he has no experience and his veiws on war are much better i think...he said he wants to bring the troops home and that this is a dumn war wich is true there is no reason why people should still be out there getting killed i think obama should win and i think he will and if if he does i think he'll do a better job then all of them
If I had to pick one of the remaining presidential candidates that remain I would vote for Barack Obama. I would vote for Obama because since day one he has opposed this war and like him I think this war was dumb and unnecessary. Many lives were lost in the war of Iraq for nothing, and too many people have already died to keep sending more in because in the end more people are going to end up hurt. I would also vote for Obama because at this point he has the best view on how to bring our troops back home. He believes that if we withdraw one or two brigades a month then we came be out within 16 months and that better than leaving them there until 2013 or even not knowing when they are coming back home. Barack Obama really has the best positions on the Iraq war which is why I would vote for him.
i would vote for Obama because he wants to get the troops out NOW. He wants the troops out in 16 weeks compaired to Clinton's 2013 or Mckain's idea that we should stay. Also we are spending too much money on this war. Obama said "I am not opposed to all wars, I am opposed to dumb wars." He is totally right, we have no reason to be their anymore. If anything we caused more problems instead of solving them.
If now was November i would vote for Barrack Obama. Don;t get me wrong the other candidates are good in their speeches and different ways.Not because he is black or because hes a male. But because his values and qualities stand up to me. Obamaa seems like a person who is determined for change and really is going to care about his country..and make the right decision. Thats why i thinbk Obama is the right candidate for president

If i had to choose a condidate based on only their position on the Iraq War it would be between Obama and Hilary, because they both believe that the troops should come home. They also believe that its going to take some time bring them home, you cant just take them all home at one time. They both are supporters of the troops but they believe it is time to bring our men home from Iraq, and i agree with both of them.
If i could vote for our president i would vote for obama. Not because he would be the first black president in america, but because he really knows what he is talking about. He wants to take the troops back in by March and i believe that we should do so. the war that we are fighting right now is pointless. Like obama said "no number of people should be sacrificed in this war. This war is dumb and no one should have to die for it!
Based on who is going to get the troops out and it were November i would pick Obama. His plan is tho have the troops out in 16 months and Hillary's is a 5 year period. if i ahd to choose a president based on their views for the war in Iraq i would pick Obama. this is because he wants to have most of the soilders out within sixteen months. i think this is a good idea because it has a gradual proccess by only taking a few bergades out at a time instead of taking everyone out at once and causing chaos. however it also gets soilders out quicker than Clintons idea where she wants everyone out by 2013. so it would be best to pick Obama for president under these conditions because he wants things done in a timely and orderly fasion.
People mite think that my opinion is weird, but i believe if it was November now i would vote for McCain or Obama because we had already had an attack on on 9/11 which is the day before my birthday....9/12, and when i had my birthday nobody was really focused on it plus we dont wanna have another incident like that to happen. Plus in the paper we had read today, its says that Clinton did vote for the troops to go Iraq in 2002 and now she is trying to change her mind and i dont believe her opinion on the war was accurate. The reason i would go for Barack is because are troops are dying as the days go by and Obama standed his grounded he did not want are troops in Iraq, but Obama opinion did not count because he was not in congress at the time.

We have been their to long and we need to be back as soon as possible.
if this was the november, i would vote for obama. the reason why i would vote for him, is not becouse he is black, but becouse his plan sounds resonable. Hillary Clinton plans on withdrawling the troops from iraq in 60 days. i dont think that is resonal at all becouse that is just going to drain more and more money from america. i also think that by putting the goal for that short amount of time makes no scence, but to give the solders more time to get out and finsh their mission makes scence. barack obama gave idea to so it in segments, and to give the total withdrwal 16 months. barack oboma said "I am not opposed to all wars, I am opposed to dumb wars.", i agree with him in full when he says this. the reseon why i agree with him is becouse this war has been a total waist of time for the iraqis and the americans. no one realy knows what we are doing, and no one realy even wants u o be there. this rediculas war is also tarnishing the image of america, and its people. so as long as we continue to stay there we will continue to ruin our reputation/ firndships with our alie countries.

i would vote for Barack Obama because he opposed both troop increase in the war of Iraq and the invasion in the first place to the Middle East. He also has set up a specic time table on which he would use to withdraw the troops out of the Middle East and end the war in Iraq.
