How are the lives of the Animals similar to those of the the people in Russia before the Revolution. Give at least two specific examples from the text(quotes) to support your comparison.

i believe that this book is refering to the russians as animals because they farm so much and were with animals all the so they just imherited the nickname YOUNG MOSES
The farm animals relate to the people of Russia before the Revolution because most citizens of Russia were treated poorly by their bosses, and the king who lived free but does not contribute at all to the work. Just like the humans. The animals did all the work and were not rewarded for it, but the humans got everything for doing nothing. -Will
The lives of these animals are similar to the lives of the Russians before the Revolution because just like the Russians, the animals feel oppressed, as if they are less than human; a feeling even stronger within the animals. Also similarly, both the Russians and these animals feel like their fates are grim, expressed by Old Major when he said," Let us face it: our lives are miserable, laborious, and short. We are born, we are given enough food as will keep the breath in our bodies, and those of us who who are capable of it are forced to work to the last atom of our strength; and the very instant that our usefulness has come to an end we are slaughtered with hideous cruelty." Sentiments that I am certain are more or less shared by the Russians.

The lives of animals are similar to the lives of the russians because the animals and the russians worked their butts off but really for nothing. They just really got food and a liitle bit of money. Just like the animals they got food and a place to sleep which is in a barn.
I think that the humans in russia relate to the animals because they feel that their hard work is going without reward. For example when the old major is talking about how the have "our lives are miserable ". Which means they are feeling like the humans that do work and dont get anything for it. The animals are saying how they feel oppressed how man is the only creature that consumes without producing. he does not give milk, lay eggs etc... So the animals feel that the russians get everything without giving anything same way the russians feel about their leader.

The lives of the animals are similar to those of the people in russia because they want to be able to be free and not under the control of the goverenment or the farmer. In chapter 1 it said "Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not
give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the
animals. He sets them to work, he gives back to them the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself." The animals beleve that the farmer keeps everything that they work hard for for himself and gives them barely anything. Just like the russians who believed taht the government didnt do the work but theyre the ones who made a big profit. Another thing the russians and the animals had in common was that they both wanted the land to themselves. the russians wante dthe land that they live on and grow food on to be thiers. In document 3 it said "Only those who cultivate the land can claim a right to it...I believe that land means freedom." Just like the animals they worked on the land they wanted it.

the farm animals relate to the people of russia beacuse the animals like the lower class of russia do all the hard work for very little and are usaly slaughterd and the people of russia if they dont do there work they might get killed and they dont get paid alot and dont eat much. /Erich

The farm animals in the story are like the people of Russia, they want to control the farm and take down the humans. They are treated badly and has to contribute their work for nothing. If they revolt they will have the life they dreamed of.

I believe that the book refers to animals because they want a way that they can show people of russia. The owner of the farm treats them poorly and they are sick of being treated like this and that is exactly how the people of russia felt.
