I think 9/11 happened because of a lot of things building up. First, the "mass murder of children that Bush Sr. dropped". Also America "forcing" democracy onto the Islam countries. But honestly, i think the boiling point was, like said in the video, the 19 men who hijacked the airplanes were jealous. They felt small and though that they needed to do this to prove their point, to make them look bigger and better than they actually are. Kelly Higgins
Based upon the evidence, 9/11 had occured becuase they were mad at us. In his speech, Osama bin Laden had mentioned that they felt that their security was invaded (which it was) and they wanted for their nation to be free. Based on the video, the people felt that the U.S. was being "bossy" and too demanding and controlling over the other countries. If the U.S. had let matters be then 9/11 might not have occured.
Based on the evidence from the articles and the video i believe that the terrorist attack of 9/11 was caused because for 50 or more so years america had been treating Palestine, Israel, Pakistan, Like crap. And quiet frankly they were tired of it. The People of Palestine Said In The Video "we believe that we had to strike back not by 1 death, but we must hit them big." which doesn't make sense. Thomas Friedman went into more depth on the Roots Of 9/11/2001. One Thing between the 2 added up which was that they both felt that the terrorist attack was over a trade of Oil. By: Ki'Lon Stoddart
- I think the cause of 9/11 was because we were too involved in the middle east. i think that we had too many military bases over there & the middle est felt "small" & "powerless". They felt like they needed to show they have power so they attacked us on 9/11. Also, I think that the Osama was the leader but he had other people influencing him because he was friends with us at one point & it doesn't make sense why he would turn on us unless we did something to him.
