the status of women in the world are poorly improving because over time girls are being treated like men are like in the book of mice and men curleys wife had no name because she was curleys property and during world war 1 or 2 the woman had to take the mans job and work while the men were away but when the men came back they went back to their normal jobs. then the woman was able to vote because they had a law against it. that is why i think status of women are poorly improving.

The status of women is slowly improving from what it used to be. For example, in the United States, 99% of women, and 99% of men can read. This is an equality, but only in America. In Mauli, only 11% of women can read, but 40% of men can read. If we can help change how women are educated, then maybe we can make the world equal as a whole.

The status of women in the world is improving. Women used to have no type of skills at all, but after they got the rights to learn they did learn. After a while there education started to decline, the only reason it declined is because of the money. In certain countries women can't learn because of the money. They have to either work low class jobs to earn for there family.

the status of women around the world is exceeding. the reason why i say this is because women around the world have came together and have made a U.N for women so they can have the same equal rights as men. Also there are women working on getting other girls and women out of domestic working places so the can stop being servants and maids.

The status of women in the world is improving because all over the world, Ireland, Middle East, Philippines, Latin America, and Africa, women are taking a stand and achieving huge wins that would improve the equality of women. All of the cases support the improvement of human rights women lack, rights that they are born with.

I Think That It Is Improving. I Think Its Excellent yet Because The World Isnt Perfect. All The Girls/Women Want Is Equal Rights. Back Then You Didnt See Any Female Police Officers But Now You See Alot. Also I Think Its Not Excellent Because Its Not A Lot Of Female Firefighters And I Think That Should Change

The Status Of Women Is Improving Because Women Are Starting To Become More Educated, And Are Having Higher Places Of Authority Verses When We Use To Not Have Any Say ANd We Were Less Educated Than Men.

The statues of women in the world is poor. Women do not get the chance to learn so they stay uneducated. "2/3 of the world's 875million illiterate adults are women." If people want the worlds uneducated to decrease they have to give more chances to women to learn to read and write. of the women who are literate most of them dont get the chances they deserve. "Women hold only 14 percent of parliamentary seats worldwide. only eleven countries have met the un target of 30 percent female decision-makers." If more women in the world were educated then more women would have parliamentary seats. Evidently, if more women in the world were educated then the statues of women would be excellent.

the status of women in the world is change, for the better. women are getting more rights and are standing up for themselves. in the article Ten Wins for Women's Movements it states,"The creation of UN Women was indeed the result of years of advocacy for reform within the UN by the Gender Equality Architecture Reform campaign..." women are standing up for what they want which is to be equal to men. they created UN Women so they have a say in how they think the world issues should be resolved and how to help people in all parts of the world. women are also standing up to laws/bills that shouldn't be passed because they are unfair to them. in the same article it states,"Over 500 women activists attended the packed public hearing that killed the bill and their energy has motivated similar efforts to quash repressive bills in other African countries." women are standing up to people to get rid of bills that are unfair to them. they want equal rights as men so they have to stand up for what they think is fair and what they think should and shouldn't happen. as stated above, womens status in the world is changing because of them and for the better.

The ststus of womem has slowly been improoving. They have gotten more rights like the same sex marriage in Argentina, they have more representation in the UN and they are getting more care during maternal birth. More women are becoiming educated. They are now having jobs and making something of themselves. But not all is well. They have been sujected to discrimination and are treated diffrent then men. For exmple, they have less pay and are "payed 77 cents for every dollar men earn." They are more likley to be victims of rape, actually "1 in 5 women is likley to be a victim of rape." Yes, not everything is good, but things are starting to get better. All we have to do is hope and make change. :)

The status of women in the world is improving. More and more countries are starting to have equality with men and women. Although, some countries are still falling behind they are still making progress. Before, women didnt have the right to vote and now they can vote. The UN has also got involved and work to "translate their hopes of a better world into reality." The UN also mobilized more than 300 women's justice and rights. Over time, women have become more equal to men and they are being offered more changes at education and jobs.

I feel that the status of women around the world is improving. Over the last decade, women have achieved many things. One is the creation of the UN General Assembly of UN Women. Another is the fact that the adult literacy of women is nearly the same as mn in most countries. One case is in Mongolia, 97.5% of women are literate compared to 98% of men. Around the world, the status of women is gradually improving.

The status of women around the world is improving little by little. Although it is good here in America, doesn't mean it is in other countries. That is why i say it is slowly improving. From now in time to back in the past, equality towards women is much better. Now women can vote as apposed to back in the day. Also they are getting the same education as men. The literacy rate in Cuba, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Mongolia, South Africa, Thailand, America, Samoa, & Iceland are all just about the same between the men & women. For example in the US for both males & females the literacy rate is 99. Also the years of schooling is even and fair as well. Females actually have more schooling than men. That goes to show that the Women equality is improving slowly over time. -TYRELL ARNUM

Today i think that the status women are improving. i think so because women went from working as secretaries in the old days to working for any job they apply for. Its improving from when it was WW2 when the women were taking the man jobs while the men went to war. They are becoming stronger as women and is improving to become independent after this. Therefore this is why the status of women is poorly improving.

The status of women to me is slowly improving. In the packet we read today it actually showed improvement in women over the years. For example, we are gaining more rights such as... "Argentina legalizes same-sex marriage" thats the first for LAtin America! This is a big deal because girls/women can finally show their true colors and be themselves without having to worry about getting in trouble and/or punished. Also, we women are getting more rights to speak about how we feel. For example, the Mass March for Women and Peace in Congo. Women proudly proclaimed, "we believe that women should not be made prisoners in their own homes.. we are all survivors, we're still here, and we're marching together for the woman of the Congo". This was a very powerful quote from the women and it shows how passionate we all are for our Women rights and respect. So, this is why the women status is improving overtime. :)

- The statues of women is slowly improving because women now of days are able to with hold a a job that a woman back in the days couldn't do because it was considered a "mans" job. Another way that women are becoming more equal is because we in politics. Woman are suppose to withhold 30% of decision making.

The status of women is improving poorly because there hasn't been many shanges. For example,2/3 of the world's 875 million illiterate adults are women according to the United Nations Educational, scientific and cultural Organization,2005.Also,women constitute about 70 percent of the world's absolute poor, those living on less than a dollar so therfore women's status hasn't really improved
